Why Families Choose Tallowmark

Practical Education. No Pressure. No Jargon.

Structured, Step-by-Step

Each programme follows a clear sequence, so families know what to work on each week without feeling overwhelmed by everything at once.

Education, Not Advice

We explain concepts, share frameworks, and provide templates. All decisions and binding instruments remain with you and the licensed professionals you consult.

Family-Centred Approach

Materials are designed to be shared — with a spouse, with adult children, or referred back to over the years as circumstances change.

Printable & Tangible

We provide physical workbooks and printed materials — not just digital slides — so your family has something to hold, annotate, and return to.

Local to Penang

Our sessions are held in George Town and are adapted to the property and administrative context of families living in Peninsular Malaysia.

Built to Last

The archive and documents you create through our programmes are meant to be kept, updated, and handed on — not filed away and forgotten.

Common Questions

What Families Often Ask Us

Do your programmes provide legal advice?
No. Tallowmark is an education provider, not a legal firm. Our programmes explain concepts, help you organise information, and prepare you for conversations with solicitors, notaries, and financial planners — but we do not draft wills, provide advice on estates, or act in any legal capacity.
How many people from my family can attend?
The weekend workshop is priced per person. The Family Conversations and Family Archive programmes are priced per household, meaning a couple or a small family group (up to four adults) can attend together for the stated fee. Please contact us if you have a larger group.
Where are the sessions held?
All sessions take place at our office at 45 Lebuh Pantai, George Town, Penang. The space is calm and private, arranged to support open conversation. There is parking nearby and we are accessible by public transport.
What should I bring to the first session?
For the weekend workshop, we ask participants to bring whatever documents they currently have to hand — even a partial collection is a useful starting point. For the other programmes, your orientation session will include a preparation list so you know exactly what to gather before each meeting.
Are the programmes conducted in English only?
Our programmes are delivered in English. Materials are provided in English. If your family has members who are more comfortable in Bahasa Malaysia, please speak to us and we will do our best to accommodate.
Can I enrol in more than one programme?
Yes. Many families start with the weekend workshop to get their documents in shape, then join the Family Archive Programme when they are ready for a more thorough process. The programmes complement one another well, though each stands alone.
How do I sign up and what are the payment terms?
Send us a message through the form below or call us at +60 4 263 9418. We will respond within two working days to confirm availability and walk you through the enrolment steps. Payment is collected before the first session.
